Here's everything you need to know about Apple's upcoming AirPods 3 headphones.
Apple has long been rumored to be working on a new affordable AirPods headset in the near future to replace the current AirPods 2. This product is expected to bring a lot of improvements and upgrades compared to the previous generation, from design, configuration to features. So in fact, what will the AirPods 3 headphones have to attract to attract users' attention? Let's learn about Apple's new headphones with FPTShop through a series of rumors and leaks that have appeared in the past time.
At launch, AirPods 2 were sold by Apple for $ 149 and $ 199 respectively for the wired and wireless charging case versions. Although this price is not very attractive when compared to other true wireless headphones such as Google Pixel Buds or Samsung's Galaxy Buds, Apple's products are still very popular and selling extremely well.
With the upcoming AirPods 3, rumors have surfaced recently that Apple will price it at $ 199 like the previous generation for the wireless charging case version. This headset seems to be removed from the variant that comes with a wired charging case.

A report that appeared yesterday has revealed that Apple will mass produce its new affordable true wireless headphones in August. Therefore, many are expecting AirPods 3 to be introduced this fall, possibly at the launch event of the new iPhone 13 series.
AirPods 3 is expected to undergo a design overhaul, although in terms of its appearance it still looks quite familiar. Accordingly, the successor to the AirPods 2 is rumored to have the same design as the AirPods Pro with a shorter body and comes with replaceable rubber tips.
While the AirPods 3 may look a lot like the AirPods Pro, they're rumored to be stripped of a few premium features like active noise cancellation or see-through mode for a more affordable price tag. That means the headphones will be functionally identical to the current AirPods 2. In addition, the charging case of the new headphones is also expected to have the same design as the "Pro" model except a bit wider.

Overall, the design of the AirPods 3 seems to be a hybrid between AirPods 2 and AirPods Pro. It gives the look of AirPods Pro but with a body that fits over the ears and comes with replaceable rubber tips.

Compared to the impressive array of features that AirPods Pro possess, the affordable AirPods line loses quite a bit. They don't have special features like active noise cancellation or penetration mode.
With the upcoming AirPods 3, it doesn't look like that will change. For a more affordable price, Apple seems to be sacrificing some of the premium features of AirPods Pro on the AirPods 2 successor.

In terms of specifications, an earlier report from 52audio noted that the new AirPods 3 will continue to use the Apple H1 chip that the second-generation AirPods currently have. Its battery life is expected to be on par with the current AirPods 2, which means you can use it for a period of 5 hours, and if you include the included charging case, this number will be 24 hours.
Additionally, some rumors suggest that the AirPods 3 will feature a more compact system-in-package (SiP) system, similar to the SiP used in AirPods Pro. This will allow more audio features to be packed into a more compact design like the AirPods Pro.
